Angie Performs With Adam Lambert And Jessie J On Idol Finale

On tonight’s long awaiting Idol finale showdown between Candice and Kree, the other contestants are invited back to perform as well, including our own Angie Miller. Angie first sings an amazing rendition of “Titanium” with season 8 runner up Adam Lambert. Then Angie’s “personal Idol” Jessie J joins the stage as they sing “Domino” together to a standing ovation. And to top it off, Jessie J surprises Angie with an invitation to join her in UK for a concert together this summer. Angie is floored and thrilled to say the least, so happy for her!

Oh yea…the other news is that Candice is announced as finale winner as the entire “Idol Top 10″ congratulate her as they close out an exciting and talent rich Season 12.

Angie Miller Sings On The Tonight Show With Jay Leno

Our favorite American Idol contestant visits The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday night! Jay asks her about her emotional exit as well as her entire family getting “Dream Big” tattoos, then Angie gets the audience on their feet as she sings a spunky song leading into a commercial. I didn’t see it live so I’m not sure if she actually comes back to sing more but here is a Vimeo clip that has a variety of here songs presumably during commercial breaks.

America In Disbelief As Angie Is Eliminated From Idol

Angie Miller’s amazing run came to an end Thursday night to the shock, tears and disbelief of Idol viewers. Long thought to be the front runner, an emotional Angie sincerely wished her fellow top 3 contestants Candice and Kree well in the finale next week.

Screen Shot 2013-05-10 at 1.48.48 PM

After reviewing what most of the media outlets and blogs have written about the results, most everyone is astounded at what happened; what did happen? Personally (and I’m obviously biased :) I think:

1. The hometown video reels the producers put together were more emotionally heart tugging for Candice and Kree.
2. Candice (yes she is a great singer but she is not the total package like Angie) was extremely favored by the judges last night. When you have three great singers, I don’t think the judges should say anything to bias the viewers, just let America vote and let it play out naturally.
3. The judges were very critical of Kree and that made her fans go out and vote like crazy nijas.

Angie, we are extremely saddened that you are not in the finale like we all hoped. But as usual you are taking it all with grace and faith that “this is not the end, but only the beginning”. USA Today posts a conference call interview today, Angie responds:

On not winning: “Candice killed it, she did amazing. I knew she was going to be in the finale, obviously. So, yeah, I think it was between me and Kree. Which was terrible, because she’s my best friend in the competition. It stunk that we had to leave each other. But this is not the end, but only the beginning”

On the judges’ fondness for her performances at the piano: “Honestly, at first, it was upsetting. I felt like they thought I was only good when I was playing the piano. I was like, ‘I promise you I can be just as good without it!’ I feel like I had to work to prove that to them.”

On the kind of music she hopes to make: “I’m not going to go into the Christian genre, I’m not going to go into pop. I want to have music that has meaning and is real. … I don’t want to have dance-party music, but at the same time, I don’t want to put people to sleep. i want to incorporate the soulful piano sound with a lot of edge. … I know the message that I want to send out, and I know the music I want to do. I can’t wait to show it to people.”

On Kree Harrison: “Me and Kree have been roommates since Top 20. … I can’t imagine going through this competition without her. It was weird, waking up this morning without her, now that she’s not my roommate anymore. … Kree’s like a mom, she really is. And she never thinks about herself.

On Candice Glover: “Candice is just the funnest person to be around. I wish America could just sit in a room and talk with her for five minutes, because they’d understand how hysterical she is.”

Her favorite Idol moment: “My favorite moment ever on Idol is still in Hollywood Week when I was able to do my original, You Set Me Free. … I feel like that was the moment it really started for me. I was able to show America who I was as an artist, as a songwriter. That’s when everything changed.”

On family members and friends getting “Dream Big” tattoos: “It’s the most random thing,” she says, “but it means so much, because it’s so permanent and so real.”

On Idol without judge Randy Jackson: “He’s been a huge part of the show. I feel so blessed to have been on a year with him, to be a part of his journey. I’m grateful that he was a part of mine. … It’ll definitely be weird without him. He’s the only one who’s been here forever.”

Who she’d pick as a judge for next season: “It would be so cool if someone who had been on American Idol came on as a judge. That would be fantastic.”

American Idol: Angela Miller Top 3 Performances

Coming off rejuvenating home town visits, the three remaining American Idol contestants battle it out on stage tonight singing three songs each. However, the songs are not their choices but instead chosen by mentor Jimmy Iovine, the judges, and the producers. Angie performed wonderfully in all three rounds showcasing her diversity of styles all with an undeniable emotional connection which should easily put her in the finale next week. We will find out the big news tomorrow night. Keep voting for Angie!

American Idol: Angela Miller And Harry Connick Team Up

On the much awaited Top 4 Idol Results night, the contestants are mentored by Harry Connick, Jr. with a interesting theme, “then and now.” Here are the order of tonights performances:

Angie Miller, Diamonds
Angie Miller, Someone to Watch Over Me

Amber Holcomb, Just Give Me a Reason
Amber Holcomb, My Funny Valentine

Candice Glover, You’ve Changed
Candice Glover, When I Was Your Man

Kree Harrison, See You Again
Kree Harrison, Stormy Weather

Angie sings Diamonds by Rihanna first at the piano with a crystal clear tone and elegance. The judges were not as impressed with her arrangement saying that it just didn’t go any place. Nicki commented that she thought her performance was bland and lackluster. However we think the judges are just “projecting” since they are getting tired themselves; we think the judges are unusually bland and lackluster this entire season!

Keith Urban: “I would say if you are going to take a song and change the arrangement, you are free to change the melody too.”

Nicki Minaj: “This seemed different than anyone of your piano performances that I’ve ever witnessed, you can do a lot better.”

Randy Jackson: “It just didn’t go anywhere, once you hit the chorus, that was it. Even you singing into your highest heights, there was no where to go.”

Mariah Carey: ” I must admit it seemed like you were playing to the camera more than the usual Angie, lost in the moment of playing.”

Angie’s second performance was singing “Someone to Watch Over Me” by Frank Sinatra, it was truly beautiful, Keith is right! :) Here are the other comments:

Keith Urban: “It was beautiful.”

Nicki Minaj: “You always remind me of a Disney princess…like the Beauty and the Beast and I can see you doing that kind of music or Broadway or something.”

Randy Jackson: “I loved the beginning, but he didn’t love the middle arrangement, but you had an amazing vocal.”

Mariah Carey: “Like you, my mom used to sing this song all the time, I just love when you are at the piano.”

What did you think? BE SURE TO VOTE FOR ANGIE EVERYONE!!!

Angela Miller: American Idol Top 4 Results Night

It’s finally here, time to narrow it down tonight to the final three contestants and upcoming home town visits! Or will there be a twist tonight with having no elimination since the judges “save” wasn’t used this season. Will find out for sure tonight, what do you think?

Update: Just as was rumored, no one goes home tonight since the “judges save” which was never used this year allowed there to be no one voted off tonight. The good news is that Angie is safe for another week!! The four contestants were grouped into the “top 2″ (Angie and Kree) and “bottom 2″ (Amber and Candice) and after announcing that Angie and Kree were safe, Ryan says “and the one going home tonight”….drum roll….”no one”. So after a bunch of anticipation the “fantastic four” will all perform again next week. Although the votes as Ryan explained aren’t wasted. Idol is going to add up the votes this week for each contestant to next weeks tally and it will all be revealed next week for an official “top 3″.

Here is a good summary of last nights results show from the Rolling Stone.

americanidoltop4

American Idol: Angie Miller Steals The Show In Top 4 Performance

In American Idol’s top 4 show each contestant gets two performances and Angie Miller performs magnificently in both tonight blowing away the audience as well as the judges who give her a standing ovation. Her first performance was singing Jessie J’s “Who You Are” at the piano.

Here are some of the judges comments:

Mariah Carey- “The caliber of that performance was beyond, absolutely stunning!”
Keith Urban- “That performance was a mini representation of why I love you as an artist.”
Randy Jackson- “I forgot it was a Jessie J song. 10 out of 10! That was my best performance of the night, Angie’s in it to win it!”
Nicki said: “No one compares to her when is behind the piano, and you worked a little rock in there as well, way to go honey child”

Angie’s next performance was “Cry Me A River” going along with the “one hit wonder” theme for the second half of the night. Again, she performed effortlessly with elegance and passion. Here are the judges comments:

Here is also a nice summary of the night from Hollywood Life:

Mariah Carey- “It was elegant and beautiful.”
Keith Urban- “Mystical, celestial, powerful.”
Nicki said: “You were snatching wigs tonight, tonight was your night.”
Randy Jackson- “Angie was best of the night, hands down!”

American Idol: Angie Miller Going Strong Making Top 4

For the Top 5 results show tonight, the contestants performed a medley of Donna Summer hits with male back up dancers which was actually very entertaining. Then Ryan welcomed back past contestants Clay Aiken, who sang “Bridge Over Troubled Water” as well as season 3 winner Fantasia who belted her new single “Lose to Win”.

After Ryan’s recap of Angie’s last night performances, mentor Jimmy Iovine says Angie was not believable in her second performance of Beyonce’s “Halo” which might effect the voting. To which judge Nicki Minaj says “Jimmy Iovine doesn’t know what he’s talking about, Angie was a 10 out of 10!”

Looks like Nicki knew what she was talking about since Angie’s name was called (no particular order) right after Candice in making the Top 4, as Janelle Arthur was sent home! One more week to go before Top 3 is revealed and home visits, keep voting for Angie everyone!

American Idol: Angie Miller Steals The Show With Beyonce’s “Halo”

Our Angie Miller did amazing tonight on “Diva’s Week”, but without a doubt she stole the show on her rendition of Beyonce’s “Halo” which got a standing ovation from all the judges. Since we are down to the Top 5 and American Idol is trying to “milk” the two hour broadcast, each girl gets to sing two songs.

Keith Urban – “Definitely top three”
Randy Jackson – “Angie’s in it to win it, y’all!”
Nicki Minaj – “Now my Angie Miller is back! You just did that song justice like a queen could.”
Mariah Carey – “Very difficult to do a Beyonce song, I must say…you are here to stay, as far as I’m concerned.”

On Angie’s first performance she sat at the piano and sang a touching version of The Pretenders “I’ll Stand by You” in light of the tragedies surrounding Boston this week.

Keith Urban – “It was a beautiful dedication, Angie, you made a really good song choice.”
Nicki Minaj – “I love the way you feel tonight, the way you look at the dedication was a smart move, both as a performer and as a human being.”
Randy Jackson – “This Top Five girls is some of the best Top Five we’ve ever had in a long, long time”
Mariah Carey – “Perfect, of course, all of our hearts and prayers go out to everybody in Boston.”

American Idol: Top 6 Results Night, Angie Sails Through

On the Top 6 results show tonight past champs Scotty McCreery (“See You Tonight”) and Kelly Clarkson (“People Like Us”) were welcomed back into the Idol family as they performed to a cheering crowd. Ryan Seacrest had the six remaining contestants group into two’s as follows:

Group 1: Angie and Janelle
Group 2: Lazaro and Amber
Group 3: Kree and Candice

After a much suspense Ryan announced that Kree and Candice were in the Top group and were safe. Angie and Janelle were in the Middle Group and were safe as well. Making Lazaro and Amber in the bottom group as they went to another commercial. Then it was announced that Lazaro had the lowest amount of votes and would sing for a “save” but the judges declined and graciously thanked Lazaro for his memorable time on the show.

So the show is guaranteed to have its first female winner since season six’s Jordin Sparks, and we hope that winner is Angie Miller! But we must continue to vote for Angie!!!

Angela Miller’s Top 6 Week A Delightful Double Feature

Sorry gang for the delayed post, been a busy week. On a double feature performance last night where each contestant gets to sing two songs, we felt Angie performed wonderfully and hit two home runs despite the judges mixed response.

Angie’s first song Anyone Who Had Heart, the Dionne Warwick hit that went along with the Bacharach/David theme was a fabulous choice. The judges commented that Angie sings effortlessly and has a great voice but that she lacks the passion to connect to the song.

The contestants were tasked in the second round to pick a song that “they wished they would have written themselves”. This time Angie sat down at the piano and sang an inspirational rendition of Love Came Down by Christian singer Kari Jobe with such earnestness which clearly brought back the praises of the judges.

Speaking of the judges, I must say after watching American Idol for several years that their critiques of the contestants are really getting to get on my nerves. Their typical old rehashed comments are really highlighting how little they prepare for the show or their inability to give constructive feedback “on the spot” after each performance. Sadly it seems like they are just searching for something to say and consistently have a hard time formulating an articulate helpful message. And sometimes they just follow what the first judge says, so if you don’t get good momentum from the beginning you’re doomed.

If there is one thing the judges are consistent about, it’s their inconsistent and ambiguous comments LOL. With Angie for example they go back and forth each week and end up contradicting their own advice the previous week.

One week: “You don’t need to be so overly dramatic”
Next week: “Angie, it’s just not passionate enough”
One week: “You really should rock out next time”
Next week: “You need to get back at the piano or you are going to lose”

Angie, take our advice please! Keep being the awesome artist you are and don’t worry about them, don’t let them get in your head, don’t even worry about anything they say because what they say doesn’t make any sense. You are picking great songs and singing them with feeling!

And one last thing for what it’s worth. The judges this year seem to have no unity or love for each other. Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey it’s obvious don’t like each other and can’t even look eye to eye. Nicki is very immature and mean with some of her comments. Mariah as nice as she is, really has trouble forming a sentence. Randy has become almost meaningless and his “Yo dog” and “pitchy” cliches are predictable and tiresome. Keith means well and seems to try at least but I think the show moving forward needs an entire new makeover. With the exception of Ryan Seacrest of course; he is fun, likable and manages the show effortlessly.

Here are some other comments from You Tube on Angie’s performances:

Angie your incredible don’t let anyone tell you different!:)
They can’t criticize her singing, so the only thing they can go after is the emotion angle which is silly. She always sings with passion.
This song was awesome, all the girls are singing great now but Angie’s voice engages me the most….especially at the piano.
You’re so amazing, don’t worry about the criticism because you’re doing extremely perfect. Keep doing your best, you’re so unique :)

American Idol: Top 7 Results Show, Angie Is Through Once Again

In a results show night that brought back Country the Country talent of Casey James from season 9 and the one and only Carrie Underwood from season 4, the top 6 contestants were revealed and Angie once again makes it through. In fact they named the top 3 first in no particular order with Angie being called second, so we are thrilled to see her perform again next week! However, it wasn’t a fun night for Burnell Taylor as he had the least amount of votes and when the judges decided not to save him you saw the tears on each of the contestants faces as Burnell will go back home to Louisiana.

As Ryan Seacrest leads up to announcing the top 3 vote getters he has Jimmy Iovine and the judges pick their top 3 favorites in the competition so far:

JIMMY: Amber, Angie, Kree (but he also loves Candice)
KEITH: Kree, Angie, Amber
NICKI: Angie, Amber, Kree
RANDY: Amber, Kree, Angie
MARIAH: Kree, Amber, Candice

American Idol: Angela Miller Sings “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence

On the Top 7 American Idol show tonight, Angela Miller Sings “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence for this weeks “Rock Theme”. Angie starts out at the piano and then gets up and rocks out the rest of this “edgy” song with passion and that last note she sang soared and showcased a vocally superior performance tonight. Other than battling with an overly windy wind machine :) her singing and stage presence was natural and effortless, great job Angie! And back to the curly hair, which we love! :)

While her fellow contestants highlight her high energy enthusiasm and record fast hand clapping :) the judges comments are as follows:

Nicki Minaj- “I want to see you get back to piano with Colton Dixon and your original material that I saw earlier in the competition.”

Randy Jackson- “the piano and those tender moments made for a great performance, and the note at the end was killer, I like your edge.”

Mariah Carrey- “I was initially worried when you got up from the piano, but ultimately felt that the song was a perfect match for her.”

Keith Urban- “I love your voice! But ultimately a singers success is not just vocally or what you look like but the feeling of the song you convey, I want you to feel the songs more when you choose them.”

The other contestants song choices were as follows:

Kree Harrison- “Piece of My Heart” by Janis Joplin
Candice Glover- “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones
Janell Arthur- “You May Be Right” by Billy Joel
Amber Holcomb- “What About Love” by Heart
Burnell Taylor- “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi
Lazaro Arbos- “We Are the Champions” by Queen

Angela Miller Extra: Angie Singing “O Holy Night” With Friends

If anyone is like us we can’t wait to hear Angela’s next performance on American Idol. So we’ve added another video of Angie singing “O Holy Night” with some friends of hers, from her You Tube channel, enjoy!

Here are some comments of this song from You Tube:

One of the best songs ever written !
You all have beautiful voices and blend perfectly together!
I literally have been watching every video of you I could find on YouTube!
Wow… New favorite Christmas song..! All 3 of you are so so so talented!!
Angie, Sophie, Carly. Oh my goodness. Amazing. I love it.
Wow the harmonies are amazing!

American Idol: Angela Miller Sings Shop Around By The Miracles

Angie Miller performs ”Shop Around” by The Miracles featuring Smokey Robinson with this weeks “Motown” theme. The judges were not entirely impressed, especially Nicki Minaj who was particularly harsh. Speaking of the judges, last week they said for you to rock out, and this week to get back on piano, what? Might drive an average person to musical schizophrenia! But Angie Miller is no average person, she listened but insisted she was just trying to have fun with it. You go girl, just keep doing what seems right to you, keep taking chances, and keep having fun like you say…that is the only way to learn what kind of artist you want to be! It was nice to see another side of Angie, we thought it was one of the most entertaining of the night; way to mix it up girl!

Here was the order of performance tonight:

Candice Glover, Heard It Through the Grapevine
Lazaro Arbos, For Once in My Life
Janelle Arthur, You Keep Me Hangin’ On
Devin Velez, Tracks of My Tears
Burnell Taylor, My Cherie Amour
Angie Miller, Shop Around
Amber Holcomb, Lately
Kree Harrison, Don’t Play That Song

In addition, the contestants sang group songs:

Kree Harrison and Janelle Arthur: Madonna’s “Like a Prayer”
Candice Glover, Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb: The Supremes’ “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me”
Burnell Taylor, Devin Velez and Lazaro Arbos, Four Top’s “I Can’t Help Myself

Angela “Angie” Kristine Miller (born February 17, 1994) is an American singer from Beverly, Massachusetts. She is currently a Top 8 finalist on the twelfth season of American Idol
Miller was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, to Guy and Tana Miller, and has an older brother, Jonathan.

When Miller was very young, doctors discovered that the protective covering over her eardrum was no longer there. She has had two surgeries to insert tubes in her ear. A month before her American Idol audition in New York in September 2012, she was fitted with silicon spray ear plugs. She is partially deaf, with 20% hearing loss in her right ear and 40% in her left.
She graduated from Beverly High School in 2012. In high school, Miller was a member of the choir for four years and the honors vocal ensemble for one year. She performed in multiple school musicals, including the role of Miss Dorothy in a rendition of Thoroughly Modern Millie.[3] An active member in her father’s church, she consistently helped lead music groups. Prior to auditioning for American Idol, Angie had a successful YouTube channel, earning a current total views of 2.3 million.
Miller’s parents currently lead a Christian church [Remix Church] in Salem, Massachusetts. Before her American Idol debut, Angie was the lead singer of the worship band at Remix Church.

American Idol: Angela Miller Gives A Shout Out To Boston

Angela Miller’s proud mom Tana Miller tweets a picture of Angie on the cover of this week’s Boston Herald. Tenley Woodman writes an article in the Boston Herald online, here is a summary below of the full piece.

“American Idol” contestant and North Shore native Angie Miller has a shout-out for the Hub: “I just want all of Boston to know that I absolutely love them and the support they have been giving me,” she said. And the 19-year-old singer is getting ready to shake things up.

“I’ve done a lot of slow songs in the show, so I love to just have fun this week on the stage,” Miller said last night about the made-in-Detroit theme.

The 2012 graduate of Beverly High School has scored points with judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, but has yet to win over her show mentor, producer Jimmy Iovine.

“He definitely says some interesting things,” she said, “but I take it to heart because he knows what he is talking about.”

American Idol: Angie singing “Wide Awake” by Katy Perry

Ok, I confess. I love Angela Miller’s singing so much that sometimes I just can’t wait until Wednesday when she performs again on American Idol. American Idol: Angela Miller Delivers Beatles ‘Yesterday’ Tonight!

Angela Miller delivers an amazing cover of the Beatles ‘Yesterday’ but with her own personal touch as usual. She captured the emotion of the song showing a tender side that we haven’t seen to that degree, bringing her to almost tear up at the end. And something else that we haven’t seen this season with Angie, she broke out the flat iron and debuted the straight hair look tonight, she’s always stylish!
As usual, the judges all loved her take on the song as well as her brilliant restraint.

Randy Jackson: “A stellar performance” likening her to Paramore’s Hayley Williams
Mariah Carey: “You did a very respectful version of the song, great job”
Keith Urban: He praised her for staying true to herself throughout the performance, from beginning to end.
Nicki Minaj: “Unbelievably amazing, you had a good key that showed us your range all the way through”

American Idol: Angela Miller Shines Again As She Performs ‘I Surrender’

Angela Miller once again does an amazing job belting out I Surrender by Celine Dion’s, as the contestants pay tribute to past Idol winner performances. In a night where the girls totally out shined the guys, we once again think Angela Miller is still leading the pack after such a stellar performance. All four judges give her glowing reviews:

Keith Urban: “You can take a song from any era and make it feel very current, you knocked it out of the park.”
Nicki Minaj: “You look like a billion dollars, you personify perfection, you are a superstar.”
Randy Jackson: “Angie is in it to win it! You command the stage, your voice was crystal clear.”
Mariah Carey: “Stellar!”

Here are other comments from You Tube about her performance:

Angie Miller is the best American Idol has ever had!
Absolutely beautiful, she not only commands the stage, but delivers a performance that really is…Magnificent!!!
Jimmy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I’ve never gotten ‘pageanty’ vibes from any of Angela’s performances.
Angie is beautiful, but her beauty is in what she does and her passion in every song she does, she could sing Johnny row your boat ashore…and pull you into the performance that few singers can do.

What do you think, how did Angie do tonight? Leave a comment!

The other contestants sang:
Candice Glover, I, Who Have Nothing)
Kree Harrison, Crying
Amber Holcomb, A Moment LIke This
Paul Jolley, Amazed
Janelle Arthur, Gone
Curtis Finch Jr., I Believe
Burnell Taylor, Flying Without Wings
Lazaro Arbos, Breakaway
Devin Velez, Temporary Home

American Idol: I Can’t Stop Listening To Angela Miller Sing!!!!!

Ok I’ll be honest, after watching Angie Miller make the top 10 tonight I can’t wait to hear her sing again next week. It’s after midnight and I just keep listening to all of Angela’s videos on her You Tube channel, which is found here.

It’s actually past 1:30 am now, can’t sleep lol…and I’m eating popcorn, drinking grapefruit juice and feel like I’m in heaven as I sit back and enjoy video after video. I am floored at Angie’s superb vocal skills at just 19 years old. She sings with tenderness, passion, confidence, originality, and best of all humility….oh yea, she plays the piano and writes her own songs to! LOL! I guess it doesn’t hurt to come from a musical family as apparently her Mom, Dad and brother all sing and play instruments. I’m wondering what it must be like to hang out at the Miller’s house in Beverly Massachusetts around Christmas time! Angie, if you ever see this website and if you read this particular post, it would be a thrill for me to some day hear you sing one of your favorite Christmas songs with your family and post it on your You Tube channel. :)

Don’t be surprised if I start making a post every day with more of her channel videos. For now, here is Angie singing “You Are So Beautiful To Me” by Joe Cocker. Enjoy!

And here are some more fan comments from You Tube about this song:

Angie, YOU are so beautiful to me and that is not just skin deep!
Wow. Simply breathtaking!
I hope She still make videos on her Channel after she wins IDOL :)
Thank you American Idol for introducing Miss Angie to us.
A young Sheryl Crow?
I’m I the only one who think that she look like miley cyrus?
You must be the secret love child of Janis Joplin and Freddie Mercury.
You sing with so much passion (not the cheezy fake kind, very genuine). Grabbing big notes whenever you want without relinquishing that beautiful tone.
I don’t think American Idol has ever had their winner decided this early, she is so far ahead of everyone else it’s ridiculous

Angie’s In! American Idol 2013: Top 10 revealed!

Angie’s in, woohoo!!!!!!!! Idol just got cut in half as the top 10 were revealed in Hollywood tonight. Our favorite of course, Angie made the cut and each of the other 9 finalist got to sing their victory song after getting the good news as the audience cheered them on!

AMERICAN IDOL 2013 TOP 10 RESULTS
Top 5 Guys: Lazaro Arbos, Devin Velez, Paul Jolley, Burnell Taylor & Curtis Finch, Jr.
Top 5 Girls: Angela Miller, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb & Kree Harrison

After hearing the good news, Angie took the stage and was in tears as she sang her victory song “I Was Here” by Beyonce, which had Keith Urban in tears as well…an awesome performance!

But Ryan Seacrest revealed the night’s one interesting twist; two singers will get a bit of a second chance on the upcoming show. Next week, the guy and the girl who came closest to making the finals will compete in a sing-off to earn a spot in the summer tour.

So for now, a warm farewell to Aubrey Cleland, Cortez Shaw, Elijah Liu, Breanna Steer, Vincent Powell, Nick Boddington, Zoanette Johnson, Adriana Latonio, Tenna Torres and Charlie Askew.

As well as other comments from You Tube:

Can she be anymore perfect?!
Better than the original.
She will not only win Grammys she will out-throne Taylor Swift.
Her name should be Angelic Miller because that is what her voice sounds like.
Man, gave me chills.
I wish to buy your winning album as soon as possible :)
GOD gave her a very captivating voice.
She is going further than any other idol.
Her voice catches me in such a way that she literally brings me to tears every time she sings.
